Welcome to Bristol on the Move

Work to transform Bristol’s transport network, to respond to changes in the way we travel and use public spaces, is gearing up.

We’re working in partnership to make bus travel quicker and more reliable; create safer routes to walk, wheel and cycle; and transform public spaces to support our high streets.

From the way we all access and travel through the city centre and Broadmead to much used transport corridors, including the A4 Portway and the A37 and A4018, Bristol is on the move!

Bus Route 2

Bus Route 2 update: Queens Road, the Triangle, Park Street and College Green

In January and February 2025, the council shared updated designs for the central section of the number 2 bus route. This is part of a multi-million pound project to improve the number 2 bus route along the A37 and A4018 from Henbury to Stockwood.
